Hurricane Preparedness Information

Hurricanes can cause major damage from storm surge, wind damage, heavy rainfall, rip currents, tornadoes, and flooding. The Atlantic hurricane season begins June 1 and continues through November 30. It's extremely important to know what disasters and hazards can affect your area, how to get emergency alerts, and what your hurricane plan is.
