New Traffic Signals ~ Resulting Traffic Congestion

Over the last several days, NCDOT has installed new traffic signals at Hwy 87 and E. Boiling Spring Road.  Hwy 87 is a NCDOT road and as such falls under their responsibility.  The City was not notified that NCDOT was installing new traffic signals this week.  As a result of the new traffic signals, there has been a signal cycle change that is contributing to congestive traffic.  NCDOT technicians have been made aware of the congestion and are currently on the way to address the situation.  We hope to have this traffic situation resolved shortly.
