Senior Maintenance Technician
The City of Boiling Spring Lakes is seeking to hire a Senior Maintenance Technician in its Public Works Department. The position coordinates the activities of other maintenance technicians as directed by the Public Works Director ensuring that project schedules are met; assumes responsibility for appearance and upkeep of city owned property; landscaping, mowing, trimming, gardening; maintains playground equipment; supervises and gives professional direction to subordinate employees; prepares reports to Public Works Director concerning building and grounds activities; operates assigned equipment; performs other duties as assigned.
Training and Experience: Graduation from a standard high school or GED; two (2) year experience in the use of general tools and equipment used in general maintenance work; background in construction maintenance. Landscaping and ground care experience, management experience and experience in the use of general tools and landscaping equipment desired.
Salary Range and Application Process: Hiring range is $31,681 to $50,647. Starting salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
