Code Enforcement is the front line of helping to keep our city safe, clean & beautiful. Enforcement efforts help maintain quality of life, protect public safety, and guide sustainable growth. The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for ensuring compliance with city ordinances related to public nuisances, zoning, and minimum housing standards. The department works proactively to educate the public on these ordinances, encourage voluntary compliance, and connect residents with resources when assistance is needed. Code Enforcement collaborates closely with other city departments - Planning & Zoning, Building Inspections, Stormwater, Public Works, Fire, Police, and Animal Control, to address issues efficiently, ensuring a coordinated response to concerns within the community.
