Before School Coordinator
General Duties: Boiling Spring Lakes Before School Coordinator works in cooperation with the Recreation Manager and is responsible for the daily supervision of 20-30 youth participants between the ages of five and eleven enrolled in the before school program and the Boiling Spring Lakes Community Center. Provide set-up and clean-up on a daily basis, developing daily schedules and programs, behavior intervention and modification, along with frequent verbal and written communications with parents. Assist Recreation Manager with other youth programs as assigned.
Requirements: Required minimum of High School Diploma and experience supervising youth in educational or recreational setting. Associates degree preferred. Basic First Aid and CPR certified or have the ability to become certified prior to reporting to work. Must be self-motivated, able to take initiative, independent to complete routine tasks as well as energetic and enthusiastic to be able to motivate and entertain youth participants. Drug Screening and Background Check are required prior to employment
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, 6:15am – 8:45am
Schedules and hours will vary on school breaks and workdays
Salary: $9.15 - $9.50 DOQ
