Job Description: Summer Camp Bus Driver
TWO (2) PART TIME POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE
General Duties: Boiling Spring Lakes Summer Day Camp Bus Drivers are responsible for driving the small 14 passenger bus and or vans to transport participants, of various ages, on field trips two days a week. The drivers are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Drivers may participate in the activity with the campers and staff. Positive interaction with camp participants during activities is MANDATORY.
Requirements: Must be a licensed driver with experience driving multi-passenger vans and small buses. CDL license is not required. Experience working with children is preferred. Drug Screening and Background Check are required prior to employment.
Hours of Work:
Exact schedule will vary depending on camp and special events schedule – but is expected to be limited to two days per week. Typical work schedule will be between 8am – 4pm. Position is temporary seasonal averaging 10-12 hours per week. You must be able to work from June 4th through August 17th . This position does not qualify for city medical or retirement benefits.
