City of Boiling Spring Lakes
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing shall be held on March 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 9 East Boiling Spring Road to hear and invite public comment with regard to the following:
(1) Proposed text amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance: Consider a text amendment to the City’s UDO revising Article 5 Zoning Districts to include a new R-5MH zoning district and prohibit manufactured homes within the R-5 zoning district.
(2) Proposed amendment to the CAMA Land Use Plan: Consider amending the CAMA Land Use Plan to include a new R-5MH zoning district. The public has the opportunity to provide written comment to the Division of Coastal Management no less than 30 days following adoption of the Land Use Plan amendment. Copies of the Land Use plan are available for review by the public at City Hall during normal office hours.
Copies of these amendments can be reviewed at City Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Amendments can also be viewed on our website at www.cityofbsl.org.
The Board will consider all discussions during each public hearing and may modify the proposal based upon public comment if said modifications do not change the general intent of the proposal. All interested persons are encouraged to attend. Following the hearings, the Board of Commissioners may adopt the amendment.
