After School Counselor
1 Part Time Position

General Duties:  Boiling Spring Lakes After School Counselors are responsible for supervision of  25-30 youth participants, of various ages at all times; including necessary behavior intervention as needed, the facilitation of homework and study periods, and the planning and implementing activities for assigned group.  This position is also responsible for supervision of children during off campus activities and field trips. Will also provide set-up and clean-up for after school on a daily basis. Interaction with participants during activities is MANDATORY.  Complete time sheet on a daily basis.

Requirements:  Required minimum of High School Diploma and experience supervising youth in educational or recreational setting preferred. Must have a clean driving record with a minimum of five years driving experience.  Basic First Aid and CPR certified or have the ability to become certified prior to reporting to work.  Must be able to work well in a group setting.  Must be self-motivated, able to take initiative, and independent to complete routine tasks as well as energetic and enthusiastic to be able to motivate and entertain youth participants. Drug Screening and Background Check are required prior to employment

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, 3:00-6:15 pm all school days.
Schedules and hours will vary on school breaks and workdays
$9.50 per hour
